Hiroshima Peace Memorial (Genbaku Dome)

Today, I will introduce about Hiroshima Peace Memorial (Genbaku Dome). It was released atomic bomb at the Second World War, but it was not completely destroyed. It is called a negative World Heritage Site like Auschwitz Birkenau:German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp, and Island of Gorée that is base of the slave trade. Hiroshima Peace Memorial relates the incident that is remarkable and universal, therefore it is registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Now, many people don't know the Second World War and a thereat to atom bomb, but those should be passed down next generation. Therefore, Hiroshima Peace Memorial should be preserved, and I would like to go to there someday to fell the terror of wars.

Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama

This time, I will introduce about Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama. In 1995, Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. They represent architectural form that represent important era, and they are in the threat to damages. Therefore they registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. They stand in Gifu and Toyama. Their character is their roof which are large area and have sharp angle, because they are in heavy snowed region and people want to remove the snow from the roof easily. A lot of tourists have visited there since they registered on, and this area receive benefit. However, visitor's manner become big problem nowadays. For example, they throw away garbage everywhere, and they open doors of house and resident's privacy are invaded. I would like to go to there someday, but I should have good manners then.

Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto

This time, I am going to talking about Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.In 1994, Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. There are some reasons they were registered on. First, They contribute developing Japanese architecture at certain period. Second, their structure and distribution are masterpiece, and they represent important historic era. They include Japanese very famous temples, such as, "kiyomizudera","kinkakuji", and "enryakuji". However, other temples that are near them have become bad condition. So, Japanese government plans other temples will be registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Kyoto has a lot of beautiful and important temples, therefore, I believe all temples should be preserved.

Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area

I am going to introduce about Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area. In 1993, Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area were registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. They locate on Nara. There are some reasons they were registered on. First, their structure and distribution are masterpiece, so many people are fascinated them. Second, they influenced Japanese religious structure because they were built when Buddhism were introduced in Japan. Third, they are one of the most represent structure of Japanese architect pattern.
Horyu-ji is the most famous of those temples because it is the oldest wooden architecture in the world. Also, it is said "shoutoku-taishi"built it. He is legend in Japan.
If I will visit them, I could feel history. So, I would like to go to there someday.

Himeji Castle

This time I am going to introduce Himeji Castle. In 1993, Himeji Castle was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Shirakami-Sanchi locate on Hyogo. Himeji Castle is bilut in 1346.Himeji Castle's dungeon is very famous because it have variety of function to defend enemy.Besides,its form is so beautiful.Himeji Castle is old.So,it was repaired from 1935 to 1964.Also it has been repaired now.Today,graffities are big problem in Himeji Castle.The act like that is not permitted.We should preserve it good condition.

Shirakami-Sanchi

This time I am going to introduce Shirakami-Sanchi. In 1993, Sirakami-Sanchi was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. It is the first place that was registered onUNESCO's World Heritage list in Japan as well as Yakushima.Shirakami-Sanchi locate on Aomori and Akita. There are two main reasons Yakushima was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list . First, Yakushima has beautiful nature and it is very important. Next, Yakushima has great eco system. Especially, Shirakami-Sanchi's beeches are very famous.The primeval forest of beeches do not unaffected.There are few places like Shirakami-Sanchi all over the world. I believe we should preserve Shirakami-Sanchi.

Yakushima

I am going to introduce the World Haritage Site in Japan On My Blog.

First, I am going to introduce Yakushima. In 1993, Yakushima was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list. It is the first place that was registered onUNESCO's World Heritage list in Japan. There are two main reasons Yakushima was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list . First, Yakushima has beautiful nature and it is very important. Next, Yakushima has great eco system. Especially, Yakushima's Japanese cedars are famous because some of them are more than one thousand years old. I would like to go to Yakushima if I have a chance. Why don't you go to Yakushima?
